Spawn i95 (Spawn Series 25)

For those who haven't followed the Spawn figures of late, some months back McFarland Productions released a series of figures based on covers of comic books. This produced some lovely figures (which I forced myself not to buy).

In many ways, Series 2 of the covers set surpasses the first. When I saw this Spawn figure, I just couldn't help myself.

Spawn actually has a lot of joints. He's jointed at the neck, shoulders, swivels at the glove tops, waist, hips, and boot tops.

The cape comes attached to the figure in the package. It appears to be attached in to places on the back. With some work, I think that it can be removed, but would probably never go back on.

The facial detail on this figure is just amazing. There are tons of nice little touches.

This figure definitely has a "movement" to it. It's very dramatic looking. I had so much fun taking pictures of him from different angles.

Of course, the cape is tremendous on this figure. As is the base, which is a spinning platform with a lever that allows you to rotate the figure to see it from all angles. The base is made up of little hole. Separate foot pegs can be placed anywhere on the base. It would work for nearly any figure. The base alone is worth the price of the figure.

Ah, Spawn meets one of the last arrivals at my house...the Alien Queen. She doesn't look too happy to see a new figure on my desk.

"Go head, charge! I dare you! Come on, I'm waving this red cape and everything! Do it!"
